More than 65 people participated in this year’s spring intergenerational program “Planting God’s People” on Sunday, April 27th. The weather cooperated as the group gathered around the St. Luke Tree of Hope (a Red Cherokee Dogwood) for devotions and the tree planting. Those gathered then had the choice of taking a nature walk and creating a nature bracelet or moving inside to talk about ways to “green” St. Luke and our own personal lives. Everyone was invited to plant a white pine seedling in a biodegradable pot to take home and continue to green God’s creation. Thank you to everyone who participated and planned the program!
