St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the
Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Located in the small town of
Scotland, Pennsylvania, the congregation was chartered in 1894 with 30 original
members, and has grown steadily over the years to its current size of just over
400 baptized members. A church is far more than a building, but if you are

Our purpose is at least threefold:
To worship God together with Word and Sacraments, in a united fellowship in
Jesus Christ
To proclaim and promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our community and in the
world
To serve others in Christian love, as we are called and empowered to do so.
