St. Luke is situated on the campus of the Luther Ridge Retirement Community in Scotland, Pennsylvania, northeast of the city of Chambersburg. The church is on PA Route 997, also known as Black Gap Road. St. Luke is 4.1 miles northwest of the intersection of PA 997 and US 30, 1.0 miles southeast of the intersection of Interstate 81 and PA 997 and .4 miles southeast of the Chambersburg Mall.
Driving directions
From points North, South, or West: Take I-81 north or south to exit 20 (Scotland); turn left onto PA 997 (toward Fayetteville); proceed 1.0 miles to Luther Drive; turn right, then right again into the church parking lot. There is a sign for St. Luke in front of the church, and a sign for Luther Ridge at the entrance to Luther Drive.
From points East or Southeast: Take US 30 west or PA 997 north to the intersection of US 30 and PA 997 north (Black Gap Road); go 4.1 miles northwest on PA 997. As you approach Luther Ridge you will come to the large Mt. Pleasant church on the left, then a cemetary on the right. Proceed past the first entrance to Luther Ridge and turn left at the second (both are Luther Drive); then turn right into the church parking lot. There is a sign for St. Luke in front of the church, and a sign for Luther Ridge at each entrance to Luther Drive.
